CAREGIVER’S CONSCIENCE 100

CAREGIVER’S CONSCIENCE 100

Wow! 100 Episodes

100 is Important.

In Hollywood there is a major celebration for the 100th Episode of every show.  The Celebration is complete with a major Wrap Party after the Episode with Speeches, Awards and Caterers serving Champagne along with the favorite dishes of the Cast and Crew. 100 Episodes is quite a feat in Hollywood.

The 100th Episode of a Radio show is an achievement to be recognized.  Do you remember the “Frasier” Episode (the original Frasier series- not the reboot) the actual 100th show?   The entire episode was designed to “imitate life by focusing on the celebration of Frasier’s 1000th Radio Program”—and the whole premise was in the Writer’s imaginations.

Speaking of Writers.  There is a list of prolific Writers who have written over 100 Books whose names go down in history.  The Club includes Authors such as Emily Dickinson, Jane Austin, Charles Dickens, Lewis Caroll, Jules Verne, Alexandre Dumas, Nora Roberts, and Stephen King.  Just to name a few.  To have the experiences, the imagination, the creativity, and the words to pen over 100 works is definitely something to celebrate.

In the Art of Music, “Billboard’s Hot 100” lists recording artists who have had over 100 titles on the Hit List.  As of this writing, that select group only contains 16 Artists including Elvis Presley, Taylor Swift, Drake, and the Cast of Glee.

There is only one man in history who has scored 100 points in an NBA Basketball game.  That honor belongs to Wilt Chamberlain who on March 2, 1962, scored 100 points for the Philadelphia Warriors leading them to a 169-147 victory over the New York Knicks.  100 points!

This entry is the 100th Blog entry for A Caregiver’s Conscience.  It has been approximately one story per week for the past 2 years.  It is difficult for me to believe.

First of all, believing that I have been a Caregiver for 100 Entries is mind boggling. For the past 100 episodes, I have been recording, recounting, and re-living the Cares and Concerns of my Caregiver’s Conscience.

Hopefully my efforts to “Tell the Others” make a difference.

I’m looking forward to A Caregiver’s Conscience Wrap Party!

As the stories continue…
